Wonderful Years
It is really starting to hit me as we signed up for Haley's last year of preschool before Kindergarten how time flies. Until now, all the sleepless nights had continued to blur my mind. Even though I tried really hard to be thankful and enjoy each day, some days I found it difficult to do anything more than just survive. But now, each day I watch my beautiful, bright delight of a daughter and wonder how she got so big?
Did she really just say, "don't worry Mommy, while you finish your work I can play by myself." or "I think I'll go take a nap, I'm tired." or my favorite "thank you mommy for this wonderful meal. I love it!" Haley is about to turn 4 and still lights up the room with joy and encouragement every day.
And where did my baby boy go? Even though many friends still call him "baby Evan" he is such a big boy. He even said, "bye Haley" as we dropped her off at school today. He is so curious and full of determination, I know with the correct encouragement that boy can do anything! He thinks so too as he hauls a step-stool, chair or whatever else could potentially get him higher off the ground everywhere he goes to grab things out of his reach. What a little problem solver. He cracks us up daily.
OK, I hear what you all are saying to enjoy them every day while they are little. It really is starting to go by fast and I want to remember it all:)

Your kiddos are too precious! Where did you get Haley's dress in those pics?
