Spiderman Returns

Just when you think it is safe to go out into the garage...think again. I had the kids run ahead of me to jump into our stroller (which we do every day) to go on a walk while I ran back into the house to grab a jacket.

I stepped out into the garage and pushed the garage door button, like always, when the kids started yelling. Haley screams, "Mom emergency... stop the door!" I ran back to the button, pushed stop and went running around the car towards the garage door only to find Evan hanging by the tips of his fingers up in the air. He apparently had NOT gotten in the stroller like normal and was scaling the garage door panels. He had just made it to the second panel off the floor when I hit the button.

So, our two year old son was dangling 6 feet above my concrete garage floor by his fingertips. This boy wears me out. Just when you think all the news in the world is bad news...here is some great news. God protected Evan and let him hold on until I got there. A friend commented, "can't you just see and angel holding him up by his diaper".

For all those out there who have been covering Evan and our family in prayer, thank you! We feel your prayers and can't imagine how Evan will make it to adulthood without millions of prayers bringing divine intervention every day.

Sounds like one of his angels is named "Haley." She seems to be very active in helping protect Evan from himself.
