I'm sure if you have been joining me in prayer you have been to Kate and Dustin's blog, but I just wanted to post that he is out of surgery, they feel good about his treatment and hopeful about his healing to come. It is going to be a long road ahead and we're going to be right there to pray, encourage, cry and love the Wallace family each day until Dustin is jumping over our ottoman or doing a handstand in our living room once again.
Thank you so much for hearing our cry for prayer and for answering with a resounding glorious amen. Kate feels all your prayers and can't believe how God has drawn thousands of people around the country to encourage her family in this time of need.
If you are reading this and you aren't a believer in the power of God's love and peace, then I beg you to read Kate and Dustin's story and watch how it unfolds in the coming months. Life with the Lord isn't easy, we aren't guaranteed a pain free life or one that is endlessly happy....but we are guaranteed a life that is full of endless LOVE, PEACE & JOY. It is the kind of life that is deep down in your soul joyful even in the midst of pain because you know that life on earth isn't forever. There really is something more...because of the sacrifice of his God's one and only Son, we can live forever (John 3:16).
I can't even begin to imagine life without the love our Savior shares through the hug of a friend or smile of a child. And I have a hunch that as Kate and Dustin continue to walk down this recovery road they are going to experience pain and hardships but they will also experience the immense love of Christ POURED over them by all those that have prayed and joined together to help them through this time. May God be glorified.

Stacy you and Jed are good role models. When I was watching your sweet ones on Sunday, Haley touched me when she was saying grace she included" Jesus please heal Dustin." I was moved that such a small one was praying for healing and know it is because she has heard you both praying for healing. Jesus loves the little children and their prayers are so sweet to His ears I am sure. If only we could all pray and come to Jesus like the little ones.
