Matt & Meagan's Wedding

Life has been busy for the Texas Roseberrys these days. We are wrapping up the school year, trying to sell our house to move closer to our church and just returned from a quick trip to San Antonio and Fredericksburg for my cousin's wedding.

I would have to say that this was one of the best short trips that we have ever taken. It gives me hope that we can travel AND have fun:) Everyone slept through the night in the hotel room, we didn't have any major drama and no one got sick. It was awesome!
We started our trip with a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch thanks to my sister and her family:) It was a super fun resort with water slides, lazy river and play areas. The kids LOVED the water slides and Haley was even brave enough to go down by herself. Wow. We ended our evening with s'mores by the fire pit. Perfect.
I had not been to Sea World since I was in fourth grade and we loved seeing the shows, playing and splashing at the water park. Haley's favorite, and mine, was the dolphin pool. We had a couple of dolphins that kept swimming up and stopping on the ledge near us so we could pet them. Evan however loved the shark tank. I am not sure why:) Shamu was awesome and her baby even came and performed along side her.
Then, we headed north to Fredericksburg so that we could be a part of my cousin Matt's wedding. It was beautiful and the kids did a great job as flower girl and ring bearer (even though during the rehearsal the night before Max and Evan were elbowing their way down the aisle fighting over who could stand near Haley. It was so funny but they worked it out before the big day. whew). The most precious moment of the wedding was when Haley was tired of sitting on my lap and asked to go sit on my grandmothers. She was on the front row and before we knew it all three great-grandkids were in her lap. Priceless! It was such a blessing to have the whole family together and enjoy a weekend away.

When the kids weren't practicing or in the wedding they just played and played and played...in the dirt, in house, in the car. Wherever and whenever they could play they did. It was so precious to see the cousins together. Max even got teary when it was time to hug and say goodbye. He said, "I don't want Evan and Haley to go". Such precious memories.
I can't believe I snapped this picture of Evan. He was either super fun, super goofy or super stinky during the trip. Unfortunately, he and his uncle Ronnie were quite the pair giving each other a hard time. Evan would stick out his tongue, which always got him in trouble and the two were constantly telling the other that they were going to cut their eyeballs out and stick them on their bottoms. What kind of crazy guy is my little Evan...he looks so sweet:)
