I know, another snow post but it was record snow in Texas. Over 12 inches! Here are pictures from the day after the big snow. We had so much fun building snowmen, making snow angels and playing in the yard. I will never forget this day with Jed home and an entire day to play together.
Jed decided to make a GIANT snowman and this was the perfect snowman making snow. You could just roll it up and it would stick together. Our major oversight was that the sticky snow was also super heavy. So after Jed rolled the giant base, we were committed to another big "belly". Once Jed rolled it over near the base, it was so heavy we couldn't pick it up. My encouraging hubby kept saying, "come on, put your back into it" or "just dig in and lift it up"...etc. He would count to 3 and I would lift with all my might, and NOTHING would happen. Then, I would fall into the snow laughing as he would try to motivate me to lift it up. Needless to say, we didn't get anywhere with this technique. Finally, I decided to use my brain instead of my arms to have him go get his saw and cut that giant boulder of a snowball into two pieces so we could lift it up. Whew. Success:)

So cute! I love that you played in the snow! We got so much that we couldn't really play in it...we could hardly walk in it!
