This week we were suppose to have the 100th day of school. Technically, since we have had two snow/ice days and could have another, I am not sure we are going to make it to 100 this week. We'll see:)
Haley finished her project (100 objects and displayed in a fun way) on Sunday and since it was still hot outside the kids are in short sleeves...which is totally crazy since we haven't gotten above 25 since Tuesday.
Anyway, this is Haley's first school project and I thought it turned out so precious. She glued 100 pom pom balls onto foam board cut in the shape of a heart (thanks to dad)!
I love watching her work. She is such a perfectionist. I, on the other hand, am not. I would have just thrown the glue and balls onto the board as fast as I could so I could go do something else. Not Haley. She carefully counted and placed each ball exactly where she wanted it.
I always want to remember how careful she is with things and how much purpose she finds in every task. Even though she can really frustrate herself if she can't do something as good as she wants, she sometimes wants to quit, she generally pushes through and finishes with flying colors.
I love your creativity Haley and hope that you continue to explore it more and more as the years unfold.
