I can't believe my baby girl is SIX! How did this happen? Where did the time go?
I couldn't be any more proud of our precious six year old daughter. Haley has had a wonderful year at Kindergarten making sweet friends and despite some attitude here and there has been making great choices to excel at school. Her awesome teacher even called today to wish her a Happy Birthday since we didn't get to go to school and celebrate due to all the ice and snow in Frisco.
She has a joyful heart, a kind spirit and passion for life. She LOVES school and especially LOVES all her new friends. She is reading, doing math, enjoying research and growing in every way. Even though she is one of the smallest kids in the class, she'll grow taller one of these days, she has such a huge heart for others. One of my favorite moments was when the teacher mentioned that she prayed for another girl that was having a hard day:) She still loves dance, music and art. She is quite the perfectionist and we are learning how to move through life together even when things can't be just the way she wants.
We love you Haley Ann Roseberry and praise God for another fabulous year with you as our daughter. God knew exactly what He was doing when he gave you to us. I see so much of myself in you and am so thankful to have the opportunity to love a daughter the way my mother loved me. Here's to many amazing years ahead.
